Tokyo Sushi Bar in Montreal

Super nice!!!!!!!! Love and highly recommend

I randomly checked out this place when I was visiting Montreal in the summer. Their options are good and the prices are decent as well. The view by the window isn't bad as you get to look at Old Montreal. There wasn't really any music or anything like that though so if you're dining alone you may want to be mindful of that.

We celebrated our son's birthday at tokyo sushi and were impressed. very friendly service and excellent food.

Horrible service, and they had the nerve to tell me how much tip I have to give. Never again ! Food was Ok, but JUST ok.

We arrived at 2:15. Online and outside the shop both indicated the restaurant closed at 3:00 however we were refused service and told the shop was closed. Very unimpressed. Would not recommend visiting.

Excellent food/sushi! Two of us had the Sushi Edo platters and one had the Chicken Katsu. Everything was fresh and tasty!!

Great sushi, great salmon dish as well for our table. We went at lunch and the price was affordable compared to some of the other restaurants around.The staff are extremely polite and efficient.I really enjoy the place but I haven't had a chance to order à la carte yet as I usually take advantage of the lunch menu.

OMG!! Sooo good!!! The BEST Sushi me and my husband has tried. The service and the food, the presentation of it is excellent; we do recommend that place.

It's pretty unbelievable that people call this place 'authentic' it's typical Montreal Vietnamese style sushi. Too fried and saucy, the fish is hit or miss, and the service is acceptable.The place is kinda gross, clearly hasn't been renovated in a few decades. Here's the thing about good Old Montreal sushi.... it doesn't exist. There's plenty of decent Montreal sushi, just not this place.The only reason I'm giving it two stars is because it's the only real choice nearby.

The sushi here is fresh and creative with great presentation. Plenty of choices and prices are very friendly. The staff always made me feel welcome. Excellent find on St. Paul!

Incredibly terrible service and not the quality of food to tolerate the poor service. I wish I not had this gastronomical catastrophe. The worst restaurant I have been to in the last seven weeks in Montreal!

17.25$ for 2 sushis, 2 makis and tempura vegetables ? what a rip-off. Never again.

Interesting and creative rolls, with combinations that I've never tried before. Some even served with a strawberry. We asked the staff to choose the rolls on our behalf (chef's choice) and they did a great job.

Just ate lunch there. Excellent selection of sushi. Only wish they had brown rice options.

We were staying across the street and wanted a quick meal. We were able to get in and out in less than an hour. We had a bunch of sashimi and some green tea for a good price. Service was good, receptive, friendly. The sashimi was presented in flower shapes, and when taken apart, we had more fish than we expected. The fish quality was also good. I wish they had something more than green tea ice cream for dessert, but there are _many_ places to buy brownies / pastries near by. I would recommend them for good sushi, and would go back myself.

Terrible place to eat sushi. Overpriced, its not all you can eat sushi but google showing all you can eat, their saba taste weird and looks old. 8pcs of sushi for 22$+ and forgot to bring my beer.

Possibly the worst sushi Ive eaten.Everything tastes frozen and the place had ZERO customers at 6PM - 6:30PM on a weekend night when we were there.It is pretty overpriced compared to other restaurants.

The sushi was ok but I was really turned off by the service. I showed up after the lunch rush at 1:40 pm and the guy told me they were closing soon even though the hours say they are open until 3. I won't recommend this to anyone just because it is pricey for terrible service.

The place offers a vast range of delicious food. I like eating here. Staff members are always kind, prices are fair and the place is always well organised.

Welcoming staff, fairly speedy service. Went while was visiting the museum nearby, fairly packed place during lunch on weekday the food is light not overwhelmed by soy sauce flavor. The potion is a little small so had to order 2 which pushed the price high for the whole bill without any drink.

A great little restaurant in Montreal. A great vibe and authentic food.

Nice place with tall ceilings and nice lighting. The meals are ready quickly, the combos are a nice price (considering the location). I was trying out a ketogenic diet and was able to order half an avocado instead of a hosomaki roll.

We really enjoyed this place. It was a slow night, and they were really friendly and fun and made us feel special. The sushi was great and prepared beautifully, and the place is beautiful and cool inside, too.

Amazing. Each dish was perfect and unique, the service was impeccable and the space is lovely.

We got to the restaurant one hour before closing more or less to ready to order and the entire staff gave us less than minimal service accompanied with attitude, because they wanted to close early so we left soon after. We went to eat at Kyo instead where the service is much more professional with great food and ambience.

Absolutely amazing sushi. I've lived across Canada and Europe and can confidently say this sushi is some of the best, if not the best, I've ever had. I will definitely be back!

Conveniently located in the old port with very tasty authentic Japanese. The sushi menu is extensive and the portions are quite large. We over-ordered, ordering both sushi plates and mains off the menu however despite the large amount of food we enjoyed it all. The teri-yaki salmon was particularly good.

im just visiting montreal..and looking for sushi. google reccommend and its great.. i think similiar taste with kyo japonaise.. which makes me think that its how sushi taste here.. (kyo setting is more hip, while here is for family)anyway the place open at 5pm and they were super nice.. i orderded three types of sushi.. bazooka scalop and something with salmon. posted the picture.. it was great..its not like really original but its fresh and tasty.. i sat by the window and really enjoyed the view of tourists walking by
